Pop Up Shop at the Top of State

A “Summer in YOUR City” extension of the celebration of Madison’s unique and inspiring creative culture, the pop-up market includes handmade products, local art, artisan gifts, prepackaged foods and fresh produce all coordinating with bi-weekly themes. Featuring brick-and-mortar BID retailers, the pop-up market will encourage and promote downtown retail. The market will also showcase visiting Madison Public Market vendors, Madison Night Market vendors, and others fostering future brick-and-mortar retailers.

Series Dates:  First and third Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., May – September 2018

Make the most out your Friday lunch hour and explore three decades of Hip Hop while ShaH Evans, music manager, Founder/V.P. of UCAN and Social Media Entrepreneur, describes the musical elements of Hip-Hop while platinum-selling producer DJ PAIN 1 spins all the hits on this walk through time.

YOUR Ian’s Open Mic Night

Part of the free summer event series, “Summer in YOUR City,” Madison’s Central BID presents a free outdoor Open Mic Night in partnership with Ian’s Pizza located on State Street. Every Tuesday from 6:30pm -8:30pm, the event will feature a variety of professional and amateur musicians, spoken word artists, and performers of all genres.
